After waking up to a sweet table full of my favorite kind of handmade gifts, my sister & I spent our Mother's Day at Six Flags (along with possibly half of the population of Texas). Either we deserve serious Mom points, or we are seriously crazy. Probably a little of both.
It's really not as martyrish as it sounds considering we were the ones with the idea (and we got to enjoy the greatness of FootJoy the day before). After
last year's super fun trip with our oldest, we wanted to do it again in May before it's insanely hot. Our logic of "Who else is crazy enough to go to Six Flags on Mother's Day?" was deeply flawed. Apparently there are a lot of us.
But thankfully these two have inherited our thrill-seeking (ha!) genes. And even more thankfully was how great they did with the huge crowds and by the end of the day only riding 10 rides (compared to 28 last year). These kids are hard core and don't let long lines get them down.
Another fun day for the roller coaster crazies in the family spending the day with the two who made us mothers! :)
