We knew Mark & Chelsea while we were all at ACU, and then Wade & Mark were able to work for the same company for a few years in the early days post-graduation. We’ve come to think highly of them and value their friendship, even one from afar since we don’t see them that often.
So we were completely heartbroken and devastated with the news that the baby Chelsea was 34 weeks pregnant with had died from a blood clot in the umbilical cord. I just haven't been able to stop thinking about and praying for Chelsea, Mark, and their three daughters. I don’t think anyone can imagine going through something so difficult. From the communication we’ve read and heard, they are handling this with grace and strength. They asked for those that wanted to honor Baby Chase to do so with a balloon release, similar to what they were doing with their own family at home. Their daughters are going to collect pictures and put together a scrapbook of all of the different people thinking of this special family. You can see many of the others here.
My prayer for them continues as their grief will surely go on in the days to come. Prayers that their hearts will be healed and renewed, and that they will settle in the peace that passes all understanding.

You are so right. I do not know how you go on. Ugh! We are praying for them for a long time to come. 34 weeks... can't imagine. That is when I delivered my two.

What a beautiful way to remember precious baby Chase...I didn't know that so many were releasing balloons...I just knew about the family and what they were going to do...what a sweet and fitting way to send love "up" to Chase in Heaven...what a memory for Tate too...you and Wade are teaching him compassion and love for others and I think that is wonderful! hope to see you soon...how was your trip? what all did you do? We LOVE that area too & have lots of good memories there...Jill & and Ronnie
Oh, our sweet friends. It is so good to see your faces and to feel your love during this time. THANK YOU so much for taking the time to celebrate our baby boy, and for standing beside us as we try to honor his sweet life. This means so much to us, and will mean so much to our girls as well.

Wow, we hadn;t heard. What a horrible time for CHelsea and Mark..please send them our love and our prayers are with them. What a neat idea and treasure for all of you...especially them. God is right there..may they feel HIS love shinning through, His gentle touch when they need too and may they trust the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords has a plan for them Jer 29:11. My heart is with all of you during this time.
