It's October, yes October, 8 at 2:30 p.m. Weather.com says our nice little neighborhood temperature is a toasty 89 degrees. And to top it off, the heat index is 94 degrees! Seriously??!!
How do we go from having one of the "coolest" summers in quite some time to it almost feeling like 100 degrees in October? Fall is usually my favorite time of year, but this really stinks and is making me very unmotivated to pull out the pumpkins.
Bring on the cold front!

no joke. I went shopping yesterday after church (so glad we got to see you guys!) and it was quite a challenge since almost everything out right now is corduroy or long sleeved. Hello, we live in Texas people!!
I am with you on this one...where is fall? Poor Evelyn is having to wear the same 3 outfits because she has outgrown all the summer stuff and it is too hot for the fall stuff in her closet. Perhaps the cool weather will be here by thanksgiving....
